We liked the vent, the install was easy and looks good. The only complaint would be the shipping. The box arrived very beaten and squashed. The screws were all loose in the box and no packing material was used. Thankfully the vent wasn’t broken but it was a surprise upon getting the box.

After two record breaking snowfall winters in Anchorage & many freeze + thaw cycles, I installed this to replace a traditional bathroom vent cap on a metal roof. The installation was simple, the fit was perfect, and the aesthetic is awesome. We had a below average snowfall this winter, but it is clear to me that this will function as intended to keep the warm air away from the roof surface, and to keep resulting icing to a minimum.
