Designed Installation Base: Specifically shaped for fast and reliable installation on Exposed Fastener Metal Roofs. Base is shaped for 1,1/4” high profile over the rib, equipped with pre-installed 1/2" thick butyl tape.

The intentional placement over the rib does not retain water, snow or ice above the vent.

ATTIC VENTILATION PERFORMANCE :

1 unit iVent ROTO provides an impressive 450 sq. ft. of Attic Floor Space Area balanced with 120 sq. in. of intake, adhering to the 1/300 attic ventilation ratio.

According to the 2012 International Residential Building Code (IRC), Section R806 – Roof Ventilation: The minimum net free ventilating area must be 1/150 of the vented space.

However, a ratio of 1/300 is commonly used when specific conditions are met, such as installing a Class I or II vapor retarder in certain climate zones 6, 7, 8. Or at least 40 percent and not more than 50 percent of the required ventilating area is provided by ventilators located in the upper portion of the attic or rafter space.

For optimal compliance, if your local code requires a ventilation ratio of 1/150, simply double the request.
